Our combined backgrounds in architecture, industrial design, historic preservation, and sustainable design bring a broad perspective to our work and a practical understanding of how ideas are developed, detailed, and built.

Ivan Huber, AIA

Ivan brings a background in industrial design and architecture, combining an attention to materials, fabrication, and human use with an architect’s understanding of buildings, sites, and context. This perspective shapes an approach that balances creativity, technical resolution, and a practical understanding of how things are made. After earning his Master of Architecture, he practiced in Charleston, South Carolina, and Harrisonburg, Virginia, before establishing Huber Architects, P.C.

His experience includes adaptive reuse, historic rehabilitation, multifamily and mixed-use development, and civic, cultural, educational, and community projects. Ivan works closely with clients to define priorities, recognize the opportunities within each building and site, and guide complex projects from early planning through construction.

Bill Huber, AIA

Bill has practiced architecture since 1974, bringing extensive knowledge of building design, construction, and professional practice to Huber Architects. His career has included leadership roles with multidisciplinary architecture and engineering firms as well as his own practices – Echols-Sparger & Associates, Spectrum Design, P.C., Architects & Engineers, and William Huber Architect, P.C. – giving him broad experience with projects of varying scales and complexity.

His approach is grounded in careful problem solving, technical judgment, and a commitment to creating buildings that serve their clients and communities well. Bill contributes to all phases of the firm’s work, bringing particular insight to existing buildings, historic rehabilitation, and sustainable design.
